Isabel Gervis

Senior Consultant, APEX

Isabel Gervis is a Senior Consultant on the Project Execution and Operations team, based in Boston. She supports technical due diligence for new investment opportunities and provides project support for Ara’s portfolio companies.

Isabel brings process engineering experience from the pharmaceutical, alternative protein, and biomanufacturing sectors. Most recently, she worked on capital projects at Amgen, helping accelerate delivery of a major manufacturing facility. Earlier in her career, she helped commission a first-of-a-kind cultivated meat pilot plant and led process development and scale-up of precision fermentation processes.

Isabel holds a dual Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from MIT, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
