Senior Associate, Energy

Aaron is a Senior Associate at Ara, where he supports the investment process for the Energy strategy.

Prior to joining Ara, Aaron was an Associate at Guggenheim Securities in the Energy, Power & Energy Transition group, where he advised on public mergers, structured financings, and asset divestitures across upstream, midstream, and renewable clients. He began his career as a Production Engineer at Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. before leading utility-scale solar and energy transition development projects for Merit SI and IEA. He led site diligence and negotiated the commercial agreements leading to the sale of GulfStar Solar (900 MW solar + storage).

Aaron holds an MBA with a concentration in Energy Finance from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
