Sonali Aggarwal is a Principal at Ara and is involved with all aspects of the firm’s private equity investment process.

Before joining Ara, Sonali was a Senior Vice President at H.I.G. Capital. She brings over 10 years of extensive experience managing deal flow, leading due diligence, and driving value creation. To date, she’s helped close over 10 transactions in the industrial, consumer, healthcare, and business services sectors. She served as a board member for KM2 Solutions, Town & Country, Pegasus Home Fashions, and Hart & Cooley. Sonali previously held roles at Blue Point Capital Partners and Fortress Investment Group.

She holds a Bachelor of Science from the NYU Stern School of Business and an MBA from Wharton.
