Associate
Matt Welper is an Associate at Ara, where he is focused on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities as well as transaction execution and portfolio company management.
Prior to joining Ara, Matt was an Associate at Adams Street Partners, a private equity firm focused primarily on investments in the Healthcare and Technology sectors. Prior to joining Adams Street, Matt was an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan, where he advised industrial companies undergoing M&A transactions, SPACs, debt financings and other capital markets transactions. At J.P. Morgan, Matt worked extensively with various electric vehicle manufacturers and sustainable packaging companies.
Matt graduated with high distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Investment and Banking.
